Simeon has now won back-to-back city title's after also capturing the title last year. Simeon advanced to the title game by defeating Chicago Lincoln Park 46-32 in the semifinals with Ricky Norris and John Gardner leading the way. Crane advanced to the title game by defeating Chicago Kenwood in overtime.
