Former Thornton High School, And Lewis University Star Brandon Dagans Off To A Powerful Start Professionally In Portugal Hoops Illinois February 16, 2010 Former Thornton High School, and Lewis University star Brandon Dagans is having a monster year professionally with Ginasio in Portugal. Dagans competed on the travel team circuit with Mean Streets as a prep. Dagans, a 6'1" guard, is leading the Portugese League in scoring with an average of 22.7 points per game. Dagans is off to a sizzling start to his professional career after a stellar run at Lewis University which saw him earn Division II All-American status, and was twice tabbed as a 1st Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection. Dagans averaged better than 19 points per game as both a junior and senior at Lewis University, and was part of a strong Thornton team in high school that also featured Joevan Catron (Oregon).
